Robin Chenoweth McShaffry is Co-founder and Vice President of Operations of leading entertainment industry recruiter Mary-Margaret.com. Since Robin and Mary Margaret joined professional forces in 1998, Robin is proud to have staffed all layers of game product development, marketing, executive and operations. In her Operations role, Robin directs the management of Mary-Margaret's extensive and industry-leading contact database and web site.
Robin has authored several articles on game industry hiring trends for game industry and mainstream publications and media outlets. Previous speaking engagements include talks at numerous universities and colleges, Women in Games International, Austin Game Conference, GameCamp! and SXSW Interactive. She serves on the advisory boards of the Austin Community College Videogame Development Program and the Shawnee State University Game Development Program.
Prior to joining Mary-Margaret, Robin worked as a graphic designer and production coordinator at legendary game developer Origin Systems. Robin is credited on over a dozen hit titles in the 1990s, from System Shock to Ultima Online. She holds a BA in Drama from the University of Houston.
